Connections & comparison · Australia-wide

Moving house? Get the power, gas and internet on before the truck arrives.

Consent first, always

We only call once you've asked us to. No pre-filled leads from agents.

Same-day and next-day

Order before the distributor cut-off and most metro properties energise next business day.

Plans you can check

Every energy offer comes with its Basic Plan Information Document before you sign.

- Our retailer panel

Energy, telco and health funds we're authorised to sell for

Not every product from every retailer on our panel is compared, and some offers aren’t available in all distribution zones or to all customers.

- What we connect

One team for the four things that break when you move.

Each service is handled by a specialist who knows the network rules for your address — not a general call centre reading a script.

Electricity & Gas

New connections, re-energisations and transfers across every NEM distribution zone, plus WA and NT.

Broadband & Mobile

We check the nbn technology at the address first, then match the plan to it — no ordering FTTP speeds onto an FTTN line.

Health Insurance

Moving state changes what's covered locally. We compare funds and carry your served waiting periods across.

Business & Commercial

Fit-outs, relocations and multi-site portfolios. Tendered to market on c/kWh, demand charges and network tariff.

- Know which one you need

A new connection and a transfer are not the same job.

Getting this wrong is the single most common reason a move-in day ends in the dark. Here’s the difference, and what we need from you for each.

New connection

The premises is de-energised

Nobody has held an account here recently, or the supply was disconnected at the meter. Your retailer has to raise a service order with the local distributor before anything works.

We need

Address, move-in date, safe and clear access to the meter, and photo ID for the account holder.

Timing

Next business day for most metro addresses if ordered before the distributor cut-off; regional and new estates can take longer.

Watch for

Address, move-in date, safe and clear access to the meter, and photo ID A locked meter box, an unfinished electrical certificate on a new build, or an embedded network in the building.
for the account holder.

Transfer

Supply is on, the account changes hands

The meter stays energised and keeps its identifier — the NMI for electricity, the MIRN or DPI for gas. What changes is which retailer bills it and whose name is on it.
We need
The NMI or MIRN if you have a recent bill — otherwise the address is enough for us to look it up.

Timing

Usually effective on your nominated date; a same-day read can be requested where the meter type allows it.
Watch for
Exit fees on a fixed benefit period, and any solar feed-in credit that doesn’t follow you to the new address.

Not sure which applies? Give us the address. We’ll check the meter status before you commit to anything, and tell you plainly if you don’t need us.

- How it works

Four steps, one phone call, no cost to you.

1

Tell us the address and the date

That's genuinely all we need to start. We look up the distribution zone, the meter status and the nbn technology type at the premises before we quote anything.

2

We compare what's actually available there

Offers you can't get in your zone are filtered out first. You see real rates for your address — usage in c/kWh, the daily supply charge, and any conditional discount spelled out.

3

You choose, we set it up

We read you the key terms, send the Basic Plan Information Document, and record your consent. Then we place the orders with each retailer and book the technician windows.

4

You get one confirmation, not five

A single summary with account numbers, connection dates, the nbn appointment window and your cooling-off rights. Keep it for the tenancy file or the settlement folder.

- Move week

What we'll be chasing on your behalf

Distributor service order raised

Meter read scheduled

Retailer welcome pack issued

nbn appointment confirmed

Concession card applied

Life support registration

Solar feed-in tariff set

If a distributor pushes your date, you hear it from us the same day — with the next available window already held.

- Your consultant

One person owns your move, first call to first bill

You get a named consultant and a direct line — not a queue and not a new person each time you ring. They place every order, hold every appointment window, and stay on it until all three services are live at the new address.

- The moving plan

When to do what, so nothing lands on moving day.

The order matters more than the effort. Installations and distributor visits are the things with queues — everything else can be done in an afternoon. Here is the sequence we run for every customer.

- For agents & property managers

Hand your tenants a connection, not another task.

A connection referral that respects the rules: opt-in only, never a condition of the tenancy, and a written confirmation back to you for the file.

Consent-first referrals

The tenant opts in themselves. We never accept a bulk contact list without a recorded consent against each name.

Confirmation back to the office

A one-page connection summary you can drop straight into the tenancy file — dates, services, reference number.

Same-day contact window

Referrals received before 4pm are contacted the same business day, or we tell you why not.
